Founded in 1994 to promote the understanding and practice of Martial Arts. BUDO "The Way of Combat" a name adopted in the 20th Century for Martial Arts in general, with emphasis on their peaceful practice.

The IABC is run by its members and organised by the Yudanshakai (black belt college), which consists of every Dan grade who is a paid up full member of the IABC, who has equal say and vote in the running of the organisation.

The IABC has no problem with dual membership, many of our Instructors are members of  more than one Organisation. We are also interested in cross links with like minded Organisations in the UK and around the World, there is no charge for links with the IABC as this would be mutually beneficial, so we extend an open hand of friendship.

The IABC is the official UK representative for the Russian Martial Arts Association.
